Privacy Policy
Coin Purse, by Yetignome. Last updated October 2, 2026.
Coin Purse is made by Yetignome ("we"). It keeps your passes, QR codes and cards in one private place that syncs between the Coin Purse iPhone app and the Coin Purse website. This policy explains what we store, why, and how you can delete it.
What we collect
- Your email address. We use it to send you a 6-digit sign-in code and to identify your account.
- Your coins. The titles, notes, colors and pictures you add. These are the content of your purse.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records technical details of requests, such as time and IP address, to keep the service running and secure.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photo library or any data you do not choose to add. When you paste or pick a picture, only that one picture is uploaded.
How we use it
Only to run Coin Purse: to sign you in, store your coins, and show them to you on your devices. We do not sell your data, show ads, use analytics or tracking tools, or share your data with anyone for marketing.
Who can see your coins
Only you, when signed in to your account. Your coins and pictures are kept in private storage that cannot be opened from the internet without a link our server signs for your account, and those links expire within two days. Other Coin Purse users cannot see, change or delete anything in your purse. When you share a picture from Coin Purse, you choose the app and the person, and only that picture is shared.
Service providers
- Vercel hosts the Coin Purse server and stores your account, coins and pictures (in the United States).
- Resend delivers the sign-in code emails.
These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting a coin removes it and its pictures. You can delete your whole account at any time: in the iPhone app open Account, then Delete Account; on the website open the account menu, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, every coin and every picture right away. It cannot be undone.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Sign-in codes expire after 15 minutes and are limited in how often they can be requested and tried. On iPhone you can also lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Children
Coin Purse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
